HI FRIENDS.
I hope this isn’t an overload of information.
Please do call or email with questions or to order.
The main website is www.butterflyexpress.net
I’ve learned to navigate to my favorite links, so here is some bookmarks
below. Remember I carry a lot of oils in stock and also offer ½ size
bottles on about any blend (just ask.) I have cases, spray bottles,
personal inhalers, roller bottles, carrier oil, mini cases, etc. I’d love
to help you out with some GIFT GIVING for the holidays. The bottom of the
email has some kit ideas. You can order direct from Butterfly Express, but I would certainly love to earn your business and offer personalized service.
Please call to order or for more information! Thank you!

~ Extra RANDOM INFO ~
DOULA INFO: As a doula, for childbirth stuff, I like clary
sage, fennel, helichrysum, basil, marjoram, geranium, peppermint, sweet orange
and lavender. I like the blends Tranquility, Baby Me, Sanctuary,
WarmDown, Deliverance, Unity, Millennia, Inside Out. Call or send me an
email if you want what I use what for. A doula does not take the place of
anyone and they do not do any medical skills as a midwife, doctor or nurse
does. They also don't know or love the woman like the husband does.
A doula does know tricks-to-the-trade when it comes to comfort measures,
reassurance and encouraging involvement. A doula can bring the couple
closer. When a laboring woman's needs are met in an environment of peace and
reassurance, it gives men the reassurance necessary for them to participate
and be encouraging. A doula allows for the partner to participate at his
own comfort level. Most often, husbands tend to be much more active and
involved (because their emotional needs are met.) The tag-team support of
a doula and husband can be dynamic! The doula doesn't have an agenda of
her own, but simply to help ensure that the woman/couple’s agenda is
acknowledged and followed. (When labor starts, nerves and your vulnerability
can get in the way.) A doula is with the laboring woman continuously
without shift changes or other patients to see. She is an advocate for you,
working for you! A doula will come to your house to help you stay
relaxed, comfortable, and assured until you are ready to go to the hospital.

MEDITATION
TIPS: (I am learning and
becoming more passionate about meditation. I feel it is the listening
time of prayer.)
Learning to relax - hot bath, music, massage, yoga (right brain stuff
that you do w/o thinking.)
Prepare - have a space/spot (your brain will associate that
with relaxing each time). Improvise (at work, find a grassy spot, take a
picture of something peaceful to look at, etc). A place/time you won't be
interrupted. Atmosphere of peaceful music, inspiring object
(flower/picture)
Posture & Breathing:
1.
Seated posture -
back straight, hands comfortably on knees, thighs parallel to the floor.
2.
Cross-legged - on
the floor, legs crossed. Can add a cushion for your bottom to make it
more comfortable.
3.
Kneeling - kneel
on floor, knees together, buttocks on your heels and toes almost
touching. Back straight, head and spine in alignment, rest your palms on
your thighs. Add a cushion under your heels if that helps.
4.
Lying down -
(corpse pose) legs straight, toes falling outward, arms down by hips, palms up
to the sky. Most relaxing for very stressful times, however not ideal if
you are too tired, as you may fall right asleep.
Easiest known
meditation - Counting your
breaths, focus on your breathing and count in and out for one, up to five and
then repeat. Try a few minutes at first and work up to 20. If you
get sidetracked, acknowledge and reel back in your mind. This takes
practice.
Mindful Meditation - Try to reclaim each moment instead of sleep-walking
through our day. Notice everything around you, be present, activate your
senses.
Affirmations - On a mirror, saying to a mirror, silently, out load,
repetition. Affirmation of the word RELAX, say RE as you breath in and
LAX as you breath out… repeat. Consciously let go of tension in each area
of your body.
Mantras - Ah, OM, sound vibration in the body is said to
resonate through the body and can be felt at very deep levels! Use a word
like LOVE, PEACE, ONE, OO, AHH, MMM and do for your meditation, see how it
feels for you.
Visualization - Visualize details of a peaceful place, happy
place. Or if you have something you are nervous about, visualize every
aspect of it, replay it in your mind including the feelings you are feeling (or
want to feel, as you give a speech, etc, etc.)
